Pregnant Elsa Pataky enlisted the helped of her adorable daughter India when shopping for baby supplies on Wednesday. The mother and daughter duo were spotted going in an out of stores in Santa Monica as they prepare for their family's new arrivals. India, who is Elsa and her husband Chris Hemsworth's first child, was keen to lend her expectant mum a hand at carrying the bags. The cute one-year-old took hold of a large yellow bag, which matched her for size, and carried it out of the shop.

Elsa, who is expecting twins, was dressed casually for the outing, teaming a black dress, black boots with a long beige cardigan. The 37-year-old accessorised her chic outfit with a host of silver necklaces, a black handbag and blue-rimmed sunglasses. Young India sported a red t-shirt under a blue floral dress and cute purple shoes.

Elsa and Chris announced in January that they were expecting twins, having revealed in November that the Spanish actress was pregnant again. HELLO!'s sister publication HOLA! published the first pictures of the expectant screen star, who was seen looking slightly curvier than usual during a stroll on the beach of La Gomera with Chris and India. Chris shared a picture on Instagram of himself and his little girl from the same outing, captioning it: "my Princess. "Shortly after announcing their exciting news, the family headed off to the Canary Islands, where Chris was filming In the Heart of the Sea, an adventure based on the book Moby Dick. Joining them on the trip were Chris' parents Craig and Leonie, who have flew in from Australia to spend a few days with their granddaughter.

Chris, 30, and Elsa, who married in 2010, have previously said they wanted a big family.

Speaking shortly before India's birth, Elsa revealed that the couple's child would benefit from having a Spanish mother. "I'm only going to speak to the baby in Spanish," she said. "I already told my husband, 'Get ready fast with Spanish because if not you're not going to be able to understand what we say.'"
