Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner launch Kardashian Kids clothing line

Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner have launched their children's clothing line Kardashian Kids.

After months of planning the mother-daughter duo announced on Friday that their new collection is now available to buy.

"Finally!! @kardashiankids is available both online and in @babiesrus stores starting TODAY!! #fab," tweeted Kris along with a photo of two leopard-print clad youngsters crawling about a large letter 'K'. The secret behind Kim Kardashian's flawless skin

Kim also posted her excitement, writing on Instagram, "Today is the day! @kardashiankids launches today at @babiesrus!!!!!!!"

In recent months Kris and Kim have been gearing up to showcase their children's clothing range.In January the duo created a new Instagram account for the brand, posting behind-the-scenes photos of their preparations." Coming soon... #kardashiankids," was the caption on a photo of a young girl sitting on a customised director's chair.

The famous family have long been thinking about expanding the fashion line.In August, shortly after Kim welcomed baby North, the reality TV star's friend and designer Lloyd Klein revealed that she was planning on breaking into the children's fashion market. "I am sure she is going to come up with a line for babies," he told the New York Daily News, adding that he expected Kim's little girl to be a "great poster child" for the brand.Speaking about the power of the Kardashian brand, Lloyd added, "They are doing clever moves. They are fantastic and beautiful — so it works."
