Former Coronation Street actress Tina O'Brien is pregnant with her second child, she revealed Monday on Twitter.
The 30-year-old star shared the happy news that she was expecting with her 120,000 followers, adding a snap of her baby scan for all to see on the microblogging website.
Her personal trainer partner Adam Crofts is father to Tina’s baby and it is the first time they are becoming parents together.
“So @adstraining85 and I have some lovely news.....” she wrote alongside the black and white sonogram, as Mother's Day is on the horizon.
“Thanks for your lovely comments we are so happy! Can't wait to have a little brother or sister for Scarlett to boss around,” she added the following hours after receiving comments of congratulations from fans.
Tina has a five-year-old daughter with her ex Ryan Thomas who also played her partner as she portrayed Sarah-Louise Platt in ITV’s Corrie while they enjoyed a six-year relationship in real life.
Since leaving the programme in 2007, Tina has appeared in Casualty and Waterloo Road, while 2014 has seen her play Nikki Faulks in daytime soap Doctors.
Meanwhile, her former flame Ryan spent the weekend supporting co-star Richard Fleeshman as he performed in URINETOWN The Musical in London.
“It's a must see musical @UrinetownUK loved it from start to finish @RFleeshman was outstanding!” he wrote on Twitter. Later adding: “Great night with great people.”
