Billie's younger sister Sam, who used to star in the Essex-based reality TV show, couldn't contain her excitement as she revealed the news online ahead of Billie.

Congratulating her sibling, Sam wrote to her 1.28 million followers, "Am the proudest auntie in the whole world my baby niece is perfect. Congratulations @BillieFaiers & @Gregshepherd_."

Sam's tweet caused a frenzy on social media and was retweeted nearly 1,500 times in less than a quarter of an hour. "I'm so happy for all of you," replied one fan to Sam's post, while another ecstatically commented: "Woooohoooo!!!! Congratulations everyone xxx." Billie, 24, and her fiancé Greg announced in January that they were expecting their first child. The couple have been together for two years and got engaged while on holiday in the Maldives.

Essex beauty Billie had been keeping her fans updated in the lead-up to the big day, posting photos of the baby's pink nursery and her well-prepared hospital bag. "I think she's more excited [than nervous]," Sam previously told HELLO! Online of her sister's pregnancy and due date. "The nursery's done and her hospital bag is ready, so it's all coming together. "I've already bought the baby loads of little presents, I'm definitely going to be an aunt who spoils her! I bought her a Chloe dress and some little Dior silk pram shoes, which I love. Billie's bought loads as well, and she had a baby shower and got loads of presents then."
