Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively managed to tear themselves away from their adorable baby girl for date night on Sunday. The Green Lantern hunk took his wife out for a Valentine's dinner at a restaurant near their home in upstate New York.
Being big foodies, they were dining at The Inn at Pound Ridge, a restaurant that focuses on fresh local produce from farmers' markets.
Despite becoming parents recently, the Reynolds are clearly still trying to keep the romance alive. Speaking about their relationship, before their baby came along, Blake explained : "The best part is when we turn off our phones and just talk and hang out. He's my best, best friend. What do you do with your best friend? You do nothing."
© Photo: RexThere's been little time for doing that since their daughter was born in late December. It's thought the new parents have called her James. Previous reports suggested that the little one was called the more traditional name Violet - although Ryan jokingly denied this on The Late Show with David Letterman.
The new dad quipped: "It is a very pretty name, but that's Ben Affleck's daughter's name. We'd never steal another celebrity's baby's name, so we went with Shiloh" - which is a reference to Angelina Jolie's little girl.
He later explained that he was happy to tell people her name on a private basis rather than released it "in a media context".
Whatever she's called the baby is the love of his life. Besotted Ryan says that Blake is no longer the most important woman in his life, cheekily joking that if he had to choose between saving his wife or their child, the actress wouldn't get a look in.
