Abbey Clancy has shared a new photo of her blossoming baby bump. On Sunday the British model, who will welcome her second child with husband Peter Crouch in May, showed off her rounded tummy in an Instagram post. The 29-year-old mum-to-be simply captioned the picture with a surprised face emoji, possibly expressing her shock at how soon her baby is due or at the size of her prominent bump. Joining Abbey in the shot was her three-year-old daughter Sofia, who kept her face covered by her long brunette locks.

Liverpool-born Abbey's husband Peter recently revealed that the couple don't know the gender of their baby. "I'm so pleased at the news," he wrote in his Loaded magazine column. "We're not going to find out the sex of the baby – with Sophia we left it a surprise. "Either would be brilliant," he added. "But, I will say, I've got a lot of girls in my house, so it would be great to have a little lad to take to football."

While Peter is already planning days out with the new arrival, however, Abbey recently revealed that although she is thrilled to be expecting, her second pregnancy has taken its toll on her body. "One part of your brain is going, 'Oh my God, I'm so blessed, it's a miracle'," she told The Times. "The other half is going, 'I can't bear this, I'm so fat, I'm ugly, I've got spots, I feel sick."

Abbey, who recently took part in Comic Relief's Bake Off, went on to say that she has been tackling her severe morning sickness by eating carbohydrates such as croissants, bagels and muffins. "That's what's happening in this pregnancy," she said. "Every two minutes, I have to have a feast!" Abbey announced that she was expecting her second child with Peter in December, writing: "Super excited to announce Pete and I are expecting our second baby! We couldn't be happier" on Twitter.
