Before meeting Amelia, the British actor dated Keira Knightley between 2003 and 2005 and was linked to Sienna Miller and The OC actress Mischa Barton.

Opening up about his marriage in an interview the 33-year-old said that he loved being married and that he "was smitten from the start," adding: "I’m more in love with (Amelia) today than I was at the start."

Although he starred as a serial killer in the British series The Fall, Jamie’s big break came when he was cast as Christian Grey in the Fifty Shades of Grey series. Talking about the next instalment of the franchise he said: "I’m looking forward to embodying Christian again – and getting a chance to show more of him."

Jamie will star in the next two Fifty Shades films alongside Dakota Johnson

Hollywood studio Universal recently announced that Fifty Shades Darker will hit cinemas in February 2017, and the third and final film, Fifty Shades Freed will be released a year later in February 2018. They also confirmed that Jamie’s co-star Dakota Johnson will be returning for both films alongside the actor.

Despite the first movie being one of the biggest selling films of the year Jamie says that his increased stardom "doesn’t seem to have an effect" on his "normal" life, explaining: "I mean, we live a pretty quiet life. My wife and I and our baby…we’re not massively aware of it, we just go about day. We’re not chased down the street or anything!"
