Hot on the heels of retailers like Lidl and Asda, Sainsbury's has launched its own baby event – and it includes hundreds of offers on everything from nappies to baby food. With prices starting from just 70p, it's a sale parents won't want to be miss, and is on at Sainsbury's stores nationwide and online until 30 September.
Dubbed 'Baby's Big Event', one of the highlights of the sale include offers on nappies – one of the biggest baby expenses – including Pampers Baby Dry Size 6 essential pack 32 pants for £4, a saving of £3. Pampers Pure Protection Size 5 essential 24 pack are also reduced to £5 from their original price of £8.

Fleur Hinchliffe, Sainsbury's Babycare Buyer, said: "We know nappies can be a big expense and that many of us are feeling the pinch after summer, so we want to offer our customers excellent value across both big name brands and our exclusive Little One's Baby range."
Other highlights include savings on the Sainsbury's Little Ones food range, with products from just 70p. The range includes more than 50 nutritious items to help parents introduce babies and toddlers to new flavours, including chilled ready meals, cereals and savoury dishes. Parents will also find brands like Organix in the sale, with a pack of raspberry apple cereal bars reduced to £2 for six.

Parents can also take the opportunity to stock up on toiletries, with essentials like Childs Farm baby moisturiser (£3) and Burt's Bees baby shampoo and wash (£5.75) among the best buys.
A number of retailers have slashed prices on their baby and toddler essentials throughout September; Argos has offers on everything from car seats to nursery furniture, while George at Asda has also reduced the price of baby toys, baby nursery equipment and car seats by as much as 50 per cent. Lidl, meanwhile, is selling a number of limited edition toys, baby clothes and nursery furniture for as little as £1.79 while stocks last as part of a special event.
