The Dad's Army actress smouldered in the snap, her glossy tresses worn down in her trademark cascading loose waves, with the star opting for barely-there make-up save for a hint of mascara.
"Hope you're all having a lovely weekend. #SelfieSaturday," she captioned the photo, with compliments immediately pouring in from fans, many asking for the star's skincare secrets. Luckily for them, Catherine has previously admitted that there is one beauty hero she favours in order to keep her skin healthy and glowing.

"I'm finding, just from travelling from New York and being in heated hotel rooms, my skin feels like a Walker's crisp at the moment," she revealed during a webchat earlier this year. "But I've been using some argan oil just to saturate my skin at night, so it has some nourishment as I sleep, to start the day a little bit more hydrated." She added: "The real hydration comes from within. You can never drink too much water. No diet sodas! It's no doubt been a relaxing few days for The Mask of Zorro star, who has been enjoying a romantic trip across Italy and France with Michael. Catherine has been giving her fans a serious case of wanderlust by sharing idyllic snaps of the couple's adventures, including a trip to Portofino.
