Kate Moss has had quite the transformation in recent years, gone are the days of 90s hedonism, nights out with Naomi Cambell and living fast. The former self-described party animal has had quite the U-turn in lifestyle habits, culminating in the launch of her very own holistic brand Cosmoss last year. The supermodel turned entrepreneur has tapped into the wellness craze that has seen us welcome the launch of Goop by Gwenyth Paltrow, allowing us to glean tips and tricks on living our “best lives.”

Kate has revealed her love for Mindfulness

Today Kate revealed that she is also fashionably on point with the Mindfulness practice that has gained traction in the last couple of years. “I believe everyone would benefit from Mindfulness,” she reveals in her latest Cosmoss newsletter. For Kate, Mindfulness involves “taking time to look at the view, see the flowers and see love and beauty,” she adds, “I think that’s really important to take a moment.”

The newsletter goes on to explain that Kate’s new passion for living well doesn't stop at mindfullness, the industry veteran is also a huge astrology fan. “Kate is fascinated by astrology and how it can help us understand ourselves and our place in the universe,” it continues, “whether we know all or nothing about the different moon phases it’s true that the moon’s cycle affects us. We can see it easily by how our mood, self-confidence or mindset change throughout the month.” Kate also ushered in the New Year in her newsletter saying, “As we embrace this new beginning, it is important to encourage self-reflection and personal evolution.”

What is Mindfulness?

“It’s being present, focused on the moment and being aware of your senses,” explains Sunday Times Bestselling author and Manifestation Guru Roxie Nafousi, “You can practise mindfulness through meditation but you can also practise mindfulness in other ways: like eating, you can do that mindfully.”
