The Paris Fashion Week menswear shows drew to a close yesterday, and there were certainly memorable moments on and off the runway.

Issey Miyake’s Homme Plisse geometric light show contained dance performances to showcased how well the garments moved; Rick Owens took its statement footwear to new heights by showcasing a chunky boot that makes recovering from a broken foot look chic; Paul Smith’s show contained gender-neutral Mulberry bags to announce the collaboration between the two British fashion icons; and last but not least, Rosalia stole the Louis Vuitton show at the Louvre performing during the houses first collection with a guest creative director, Colm Dillane.

Off the runway and into the audience, Jenna Ortega stunned at Anthony Vaccarello’s Saint Laurent mens show. She wore a black backless hooded gown that proves 2022’s hottest “haute hood” trend isn’t going anywhere.

Meanwhile, R&B royalty Usher made a statement by dying his hair neon orange to sit front row at the Wales Bonner runway show on January 17, and BTS singer Jimin arrived at the Dior show to a roar of screams from fans just days after the french house announced that he was its new global ambassador.

Aside from a first look at our favourite fashion houses' collections, and the celebrities who attend these shows in style (if you haven’t seen Kylie Jenner at Schiaparelli’s couture show this morning, where have you been?), the other part of fashion weeks that we adore, is the VIP attendees who make an impact with their avant-garde street style.

The signature effortlessness of Parisian style was apparent, but neon ensembles (much like Usher’s head), mismatched layering, two-tone jackets and an array of hats and headpieces made for some superb street-style looks during the week.
