We might be approaching the end of summer but with many of us still awaiting our well-deserved holiday, here at Hello! Fashion we remain on the hunt for the best sustainable swimwear.

The right swimsuit or bikini can be a holiday staple that you find yourself going back to time and time again. An easy way to follow sustainable practices when it comes to fashion is to opt for swimwear that comes with the added bonus of durability and longevity.

If the design is enduring and timeless, whether it be a sleek curve-skimming one piece or bold itsy-bitsy triangle bikini, there is no denying that they won’t ever go out of style.

That being said, our eyes have been cast on luxe resort-wear brand Baiah, where sustainability runs at the core.

With designs inspired by the natural world and the luxury Mother Nature has to offer, the brand has worked with London-based designers to craft transcendental pieces from bespoke fabrics and ornate hardware in their debut collection.

Protecting the environment and remaining conscious about sustainability has been the backbone of their launch – from responsible sourcing to using regenerated materials, Baiah has also committed to donating 1% of all sales to The Planet Income Fund, an organisation that promotes positive change for our planet.

After taking a close look at the collection, we have cultivated our best picks from their must-have new range…

Our 6 top picks of Baiah’s debut beachwear collection

Swimwear trends may come and go, but we always call back to simple designs. A core piece of the collection, the Martinique one piece has a textured jacquard print and tie-shoulder strap for a subtle twist on the classic black swimsuit.

This modern asymmetric take on the traditional bikini is created with sustainable techno-fabric, making it the ultimate eco-friendly piece.

For a holiday take on dopamine dressing, the Sani bikini top features a tropical tiger leaf print and gold hardware. A redesign of the traditional halter neck, this bikini offers more coverage for a more modest pool-side look.

The sister swimsuit to the black jacquard Martinique one piece and the perfect answer to the colour blocking trend, the collection also features the signature one-shoulder design in a rustic burnt orange.

Swap tie-waist bottoms for a sophisticated high-waist bottom. Available in all the brands signature prints and colour, you can mix and match between styles or pair with the matching Sani bikini top for a conventional style.

For a sleek yet chic beach cover-up, the Joaquina jumpsuit is ideal to throw on over a bikini or swimsuit. Featuring a flared, one-shoulder design, this is Baiah’s poolside take on the 1970s jumpsuit.
