The time-old question in the beauty sphere will always be “Do blondes have more fun?” If you grew up as a stripey toe-sock wearing pre-teen during the mid 2000’s, then the answer is obviously yes, because that's when Hannah Montana was in her prime.
An icon in her own right, Hannah Montana was the it-girl to know, love and try to be. 20 years on from the show's first episode on Disney Channel, Miley Cyrus is back in a big way, celebrating the 20th anniversary with a special tell-all interview-style episode.
Officially hitting Disney+ screens on March 24, the anticipated release will feature a selection of unseen archive footage from the hit show, an in-depth interview hosted by Call Her Daddy’s Alex Cooper and a walk-around recreated sets which many of us know like the back of our hand (and yes, her iconic wardrobe does feature.)
Never one to do things in halves, Miley Cyrus has gone all out for the new release, swapping out her dark brunette Miley waves for Hannah’s legendary blonde popstar bangs, and it seems fans are following suit in solidarity.
© Variety via Getty ImagesAccording to Fresha, the world’s leading beauty and wellness booking platform, searches for ‘Hannah Montana hair’ have increased by 89% in the past month, and they’re only set to rise after Miley stepped out onto the premiere red carpet on Monday night.
For the star-studded occasion, which saw most of the original cast in attendance, Miley called on Rabanne to create her a custom pop-star-infused ensemble, complete with a fashionable homage to the character who put her on the map. Donning a decadent sparkly silver gown, fitted with a black and white fitted graphic tee printed with an image of Hannah on the front, Miley slotted back into her role as the world's most illustrious celebs.

Pair with brow-grazing blunt bangs, and face-framing layers so everything blends seamlessly. For the shade, ask for Miami blonde with chestnut undertones if you’re going for the original 2000s look, or a soft honey colour for a more modern take.”
