When you work in fashion, London Fashion Week never quite loses its allure. Sitting in the show spaces (or standing wedged at the back - as sometimes happens), when the crowd suddenly hushes and the lights go down - you feel a genuine thrill.
The music stands pounding, you scramble for your phone so you don't miss the shot, and you drink in the designer's vision before scrabbling for the exit so you can make the next show.
We're so lucky to be able to experience the chaos of it all, and every time a new season rolls around it's a pinch-me moment as we watch the tickets roll in and start frantically pulling outfits together.
So we wanted to take a minute to reflect on our favourite ever memories of LFW, and I'm thrilled to share with you that we have not one, but two models on the team who have strutted down the runway here in the Big Smoke!
So grab a cup of tea and read on for the moments that remind us why, year after year, London remains one of the most exciting places in the world to experience fashion.

"They dyed my eyebrows white."
Walking a show when I was 18 was my fashion week highlight! The casting process was rather stressful, and the experience of walking was equally as chaotic (heeled clogs are not the easiest to sashay in), but it was so much fun to be the midst of the action.
I don't think anyone would recognise me though as they dyed my eyebrows white...

"I’ve never been in a room that fell so silent."
Without a doubt, the Harris Reed AW25 show was the perfect way to kick off Autumn/Winter 2025 London Fashion Week. The wonderful Florence Pugh delivered a spoken-word opening performance before taking to the runway.
I’ve never been in a room that fell so silent, so completely in awe of one person. Then came the clothes, each piece designed to “take up space”. The whole experience left me truly inspired, and I quite literally skipped all the way home along the Thames.

"Backstage the energy was nuts."
Probably walking fashion week for the first time, for a 17 year old from deep Essex it was the craziest experience just being there, let alone walking it. Backstage the energy was nuts, people were flying around everywhere; dressers, stylists, photographers, mysterious people that, to me were definitely super important, and then me in the middle not quite believing how I was there.
I walked the show, enjoyed the after parties, and it must’ve been there I knew London was the one for me.

"The collection was the epitome of ethereal."
I've been to so many memorable shows, but Susan Fang’s SS26 show, set inside the greenhouse of London’s iconic Barbican Centre, was truly magical. Not only was the ‘Air Evolution’ collection the epitome of ethereal, with ballet dancers bringing the Susan Fang x Melissa collaboration to life and live string instruments setting the mood, but the Barbican is a particularly significant London landmark for me as it’s where I graduated from my master’s.
Being back there and experiencing fashion in such a dreamlike setting felt like a real full-circle moment.
