It's that time again: London is about to get a serious injection of fashion, fabulousness and people power-walking through town while pretending they know where they're going.
From 17-21 September, London Fashion Week returns to showcase the SS27 collections, and oh my, there's plenty to get excited about.
First up, and probably the biggest piece of news on the agenda is the fact that McQueen is coming home. After several seasons showing in Paris, the house returns to London for the first time since Sarah Burton's SS23 show - a full circle moment that feels particularly special for a brand so entwined with the energy of the capital.
Under Seán McGirr, the label is oozing the theatricality, attitude and edge that makes McQueen such a perennial fashion-week heart-stopper.
© AFP via Getty ImagesThen there's the arrival of Mulberry by Christopher Kane. The house's six-year hiatus comes to an end as the Scottish designer presents his first womenswear collection for Mulberry.
Given his talent for making clothes are wearable yet playful, this is a debut I'm extremely excited to see.
© David M. BenettElsewhere, London's new generation of designers is more than holding its own. Talia Byre, Petra Fagerström and Oscar Ouyang are all names we have here on our radar at H! Fashion, while Aaron Esh and KNWLS also make a welcome return to the schedule.
And of course, the exciting debuts! This season signals the first LFW appearance of Indian label Lovebirds, plus debut runway shows from A Letter and Onalaja.
© Getty ImagesAnd then there's the Great British high street. Marks & Spencer are showing this season and I was absolutely thrilled when my invite arrived in the post. After all, who doesn't love M&S?
And H&M are back, and we're hoping for another catwalk-meets-club extravaganza. After their previous show featured the likes of Lola Young, Iris Law Romeo Beckham, our expectations are high!
