Now an iconic face on the British small screen, Essex-born Noel Edmonds started his career in broadcasting as a teenager, landing his first job as a result of sending demo tapes to radio stations. He made the swap to TV in the Seventies, hosting Top Of the Pops, Top Gear, as well as Saturday morning children's show Multi-Coloured Swap Shop. In 1985 he began family quiz series Telly Addicts and then in 1991 he launched Saturday night TV show Noel's House Party.
