As a youngster Scott Maslen dreamed of a career as a soldier, but an injury put paid to his military ambitions before he completed training with the Royal Marines. There were plenty of other avenues open to the handsome performer, however, and he did a stint modelling for the likes of Armani and Versace before finding his way into acting. TV fans will recognise Scott as The Bill's rather over-confident Detective Sergeant Phil Hunter.
