Carole Middleton is a 'very happy' grandmother on shopping trip with Kate

Kate Middleton was spotted shopping with her mother Carole Middleton in an exclusive London baby boutique, as HELLO! Magazine shows in this week's issue.

The mum-to-be, whose baby is due in July, was spotted at the Blue Almonds store in Walton Street in the capital's South Kensington district on Thursday evening buying a moses basket for the royal baby.

The expectant royal wore her famous brunette tresses in an updo and  was very casual during her outing, wearing a navy blue top and jeans.
A source told HELLO! Online that grandmother-to-be Carole was "very happy and enthusiastic" during their shopping trip.

The pair spent time browsing the store, which specialises in bespoke interior designs, clothing and accessories.

"We had the honour of the Duchess of Cambridge visiting our shop on Walton Street," said delighted boutique owner Izabela Minkiewicz.

Kate may have been looking for inspiration for the little one's nursery in her and Prince William's new Kensington Palace apartment 1A which they are due to move into later this year.

Excited Twitter users said that the expectant duchess was also seen shopping for a buggy at Peter Jones in Sloane Square on the same day.

At the beginning of April, Kate, 31, revealed that she and William still have "a lot to do" with regard to their nursery.

On the trip to Scotland, Kate also spoke about her due date and potential baby names.

"It's around mid-July but apparently babies have their own agenda," she said. "We have a shortlist for both [boy and girl], but it's very difficult. My friends keep texting me names!"

Kensington is one of the Middleton family's preferred locations for retail therapy and it is just a stone's throw from William and Kate's London residence, Kensington Palace. Her most recent outing was not the first time that the fashionista has been seen shopping in the area during her pregnancy.

At the beginning of March, Kate was seen browsing the Seraphine maternity concession in Peter Jones on Sloane Square.

In early February, she was spotted shopping for one of her style staples, coloured jeans in a Gap store in the area.
