Queen Rania of Jordan has shared a family photograph in celebration of 2015. With just a few days to go until the start of the New Year, the 45-year-old royal uploaded a snapshot showing her smiling alongside her husband King Abdullah and their four children in the grounds of their palace.
Rania, elegant in a white and gold dress, stands with one hand tenderly resting on the shoulder of her husband Abdullah, her other arm wrapped around the couple's youngest daughter, 15-year-old Princess Salma. Salma is also flanked by her older Brother, Crown Prince Hussein, the 21-year-old heir to the Jordanian throne.

Abdullah stands alongside his eldest daughter, 19-year-old Princess Iman, with the couple's youngest child, nine-year-old Prince Hashem completing the family line-up.
"Excited to be starting the New Year countdown!" Rania captioned the photograph. "With 10 days to go until the end of the year, I am happy to share our family picture for 2016."
January is certainly a time for celebrations in the royal household. Both Prince Hashem and King Abdullah celebrate their birthdays on 30 January; next month, the monarch will mark his 54th birthday, while his youngest child will turn 11.
King Abdullah and Prince Hashem will both celebrate their birthdays on 30 January
Last year, Rania – a prolific use of social media – uploaded a candid photograph showing father and son blowing out the candles on a chocolate birthday cake together. "30th January… I’m indebted to this day," she proudly wrote alongside. "Happy birthday to my King and my Prince."
Rania herself celebrated her landmark 45th birthday in September – and in honour of the occasion, her personal photographer compiled an e-book of never-before-seen images of the royal, shared exclusively with HELLO! Online.
The pictures show Rania at her most natural and spontaneous, revealing moments of reflection, happiness and also sadness.
Rania and Abdullah celebrated their 22nd wedding anniversary in June
It isn't the first glimpse into the queen’s personal life that royal fans have had – the tech-savvy beauty was one of the first royals to set up an Instagram and Twitter account.
In June, she publicly paid tribute to her other half as they celebrated their 22nd wedding anniversary. Alongside a touching photo of herself looking lovingly at King Abdullah, she wrote: "22 years on and my heart still skips a beat. So blessed to be at your side. Happy anniversary, Your Majesty #Wedding #Anniversary #Love."
