Queen Rania of Jordan frequently serves up a masterclass in royal dressing - and her latest look was no exception.
Channelling the Princess of Wales' penchant for a killer power suit, the Jordanian Queen, 56, was a vision in the navy blue set, which she paired with a chiffon ivory blouse complete with an elegant embellishment around her neck.
Rania's power look was complete with a pair of off-white pointed-toe stilettos, matching her on-trend tiny handbag.
During the United Nations event, Rania, who is an Eminent Advocate for UNICEF and Honorary Chairperson for the United Nations Girls’ Education Initiative, delivered an impassioned speech at the General Assembly of the United Nations.
The Jordanian queen joined the Irish Taoiseach and representatives from Save the Children and the State of Palestine at the High-Level Dialogue on Palestinian Children in Military Detention – an event co-sponsored by the Jordanian, Irish, Palestinian, Spanish and South African governments.

Rania, who has Palestinian heritage, said: "I just don't understand. What is so terrifying about Palestinian children? Before they have even come of age, Palestinians are cast as threats: demographic threats, security threats, presumed guilty of future crimes they haven’t committed.
"Their innocence stripped away, they are dehumanised so thoroughly that even a kid with roller skates, a soccer ball, or a kite can be seen as something menacing. And a child can be branded a terrorist - as if they were never a child at all."
Speaking about her former home in the north of the West Bank, Rania added: "It's sad, because in this day where borders are coming down, and travel has become so easy for people, you have a situation now where walls are being built, and fortresses are being erected, and for people there is no freedom of movement there, and I don’t think it's right in this day and age."
Royals who attended the assembly in the UN
Rania was not the only royal who attended the assembly. Both renowned for their international diplomatic work, Queen Mathilde of Belgium and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands sat side-by-side at the conference. Mathilde, a UN Sustainable Development Goals Advocate, and Maxima, the UN Secretary-General's Advocate for Financial Health, subtly coordinated in matching shades of peach and pink.
