Prince Carl Philip and his wife Princess Sofia opted for a low-key anniversary celebration on Monday as they marked their first year of marriage. The couple enjoyed a family day out with their baby son Prince Alexander at Stenhammar Day, an annual event organised by the Swedish University of Agriculture and the Stenhammar Estate.
The Swedish royal palace shared a photo of the young family at the informal gathering, which was this year themed around the climate, environment and food security. First-time mum Sofia, 31, looked happy and relaxed in jeans and a white T-shirt as she posed with her husband, her hands resting on a white buggy carrying their seven-week-old son.

Sofia and Carl Philip were married in a spectacular ceremony at the royal chapel in Stockholm on 13 June 2015. Just four months later, the couple confirmed the happy news that they were expecting their first child together, and the princess safely delivered their son, Prince Alexander, Duke of Sodermanland, on 19 April.
Last week, the baby boy made his highly-anticipated first public appearance as part of Sweden national day celebrations. Sofia and Carl Philip proudly introduced their son to the Swedish people as the royal family opened the gates of the palace to members of the public in honour of the annual event.

It was the first time Sofia and Carl Philip had been seen in public with little Alexander – prior to that fans had only seen the baby boy in official photos taken when he was just three weeks old. The pictures were released to celebrate Carl Philip's 37th birthday, as well as to thank fans for their well wishes.
