Royals in Greece throughout the years, from Prince Charles and Camilla to European royals

Royals typically travel around the world to further relations with other countries, support important causes and meet with other royal families and world leaders.

Over the years, members of the Royal Family have visited Greece, along with a number of European royals.

Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla are set to visit Athens from March 24 to March 25 to mark the Bicentenary Independence Day celebrations.

The couple previously undertook a royal tour of Greece in 2018.

Many other royals from Queen Letizia to Queen Margrethe have visited the nation, including for a big royal wedding.

Queen Máxima and King Willem-Alexander, who were Crown Princess and Prince then, stepped out in their finest for a cocktail reception at the Poseidonion Grand Hotel in Spetses on the eve of the royal wedding of Prince Nikolaos of Greece to Tatiana Blatnik, who is now Princess Tatiana in 2010.

Prince Daniel and Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden were also at the cocktail party in Spetses.

The Greek Island is located about three hours from Athens.
