Newlywed Harriet Phillips (née Sperling) joined her husband Peter Phillips and her royal in-laws for a special post-wedding appearance at Royal Ascot on Tuesday.
After arriving in a carriage alongside her mother-in-law, Princess Anne, Harriet showed off her sisterly bond with Zara Tindall as the pair were pictured chatting trackside. The newlywed was beaming as she caught up with her new sister-in-law, who sported a twinning race day look.
Harriet looked lovely for the special occasion in a long-sleeved duck egg blue gown by Suzannah London, which she complemented with a matching hat by Jane Taylor London and a pair of slingback stilettos from Jimmy Choo. She had her hair styled in a low bun for the day, spotlighting her gorgeous diamond earrings.
Zara stepped out at the races in a coordinated midi dress with the same flattering silhouette and cinched waistline. The pink belted dress by one of her favourite designers, Rebecca Vallance, featured short puff sleeves and a scalloped-edge collar. Zara teamed her ensemble with a matching pink boater hat by Juliette Millinery and pale pink pointed-toe heels by Emmy London, as identified by Royal Fashion Police on Instagram.
Harriet and Peter's special outing
Harriet sat beside her mother-in-law, the Princess Royal, as she made her way to Ascot Racecourse in a horse-drawn carriage alongside her husband Peter. Princess Anne's son looked dapper in a three-piece morning suit with a top hat for his day at the races.
The newlyweds' monumental outing marked their first public appearance since their Cotswolds wedding earlier this month.
The couple looked elated as they exchanged smiles and watched the races animatedly from the Royal Box. They were joined at the racecourse by Zara and her husband Mike Tindall, as well as the King and Queen.
Welcoming Harriet into the family
Princess Anne's son Peter married NHS nurse Harriet on 6 June at All Saints Church in Kemble, surrounded by friends and family, including his younger sister Zara.
Zara welcomed her new sister-in-law into the family as she attended the Cotswolds wedding alongside other senior members of the royal family, including the Prince and Princess of Wales, Princess Anne and King Charles and Queen Camilla.
The royal opted for a beautiful blue dress for the special occasion, once again by one of her go-to designers, Australian label Rebecca Vallance. She teamed her wedding attire with an elevated headband by Camilla Rose.
