Princess Charlotte has made a secret cameo in Prince George's birthday video – and no one noticed.
The future King turned 13 on Wednesday, with proud parents Prince William And Kate sharing a formal portrait of him wearing a suit, and a relaxed video of him rock climbing on the beach with younger brother, Prince Louis, eight.
Louis and George were seen playing cricket before scampering about on the rocks during an Easter holiday to Cornwall earlier this year in the 18-second film.
However, Princess Charlotte, 11, also appeared for the briefest second in the background, crouching down while playing in the sand, and wearing a grey top and shorts. It looked like she was making a sandcastle, while a beaming George looked effortlessly cool in his sunglasses in the foreground.
After spotting her cameo, one eagle-eyed royal fan wrote on social media: "I just realised in one part of the video for Prince George's birthday, Charlotte is playing in the background. It’s so great to see how much they all get to spend time together."
Another person said: "William and Catherine will know how important it is to build those strong sibling bonds."
The Waleses' daughter appeared to be wearing the same outfit from her own birthday video captured in May, which showed a sporty Charlotte expertly bowling during a game of cricket.
Princess Charlotte and Prince George's close bond
The Wales siblings all have a close bond, and for the past few years, have been attending Lambrook School in Berkshire together, though George will be heading to Eton from September.
As they've grown up George and Charlotte have started to attend high-profile public events with their parents.
The brother-sister duo revealed their close bond at Wimbledon last month as George made Charlotte giggle with his sunhat antics.
The siblings have always been close, and even attended Taylor Swift's concert together at Wembley in 2024.
Afterwards, George was spotted with a friendship bracelet on his wrist. We know that Charlotte made her mother, Kate, a bracelet for her Three Peaks challenge, so it's likely she also crafted one for her big brother.
Happy birthday, Prince George!
Prince George has turned 13 and is the first of William and Kate's children to become a teenager.
A new birthday photo showed the Prince pictured at Kensington Palace after returning from last month's Trooping the Colour.
The colour image, showing a relaxed George standing with his hands in his pockets and wearing an open-necked white shirt and dark suit, was shared on the Prince and Princess of Wales’ social media, alongside the message “Happy 13th Birthday, George!” followed by a party popper emoji.
It was taken by Matt Porteous – William and Kate’s go-to photographer for family celebrations.
George, Charlotte, and Louis are currently enjoying their summer holidays away from the spotlight, before George begins boarding at Eton in September.
