Meghan Markle has arrived back in the United Kingdom with Prince Harry and their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. And as they touched down, the Duchess of Sussex's As Ever brand had an announcement to coincide with the arrival.

Just hours after Meghan landed back in Britain, As Ever confirmed the arrival of a new spiced apple spread for the autumnal season that is fast approaching.

A caption on the post, which featured three spots of the spread alongside several apples, read: "Introducing Spiced Apple Butter. Our newest seasonal spread, available on its own or as part of the Spiced Apple Butter Trio. Shop now at AsEver.com."

The spread had been teased for a few days ahead of its launch, including an image of the top of the pot that simply said: "A fall favourite. Coming soon."

Meghan and Harry's UK return

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex touched down at Birmingham Airport on Wednesday afternoon in a private plane ahead of the start of the new school term next week.

Both Archie and Lilibet have already been enrolled in brand new schools, Lilibet entering Year One; meanwhile, Archie will be entering Year Five, although it will not be revealed where the children will attend for security reasons.

The pair have not explained their reasons for making their big UK return, but HELLO! understands that King Charles is looking forward to spending time with Harry and his family, privately.

It's unclear what Harry and Meghan will do following their return to the UK, with Buckingham Palace remaining firm in not allowing the couple to have a "half-in half-out" approach to royal duties. The couple stepped down as working royals when they left the UK in 2020.

However, reports have indicated that Meghan could return to her acting career. Before meeting Harry, the star was known for her role as paralegal Rachel Zane in the hit show Suits.

Deadline has reported that Meghan has been offered a role in Guy Ritchie's crime thriller series The Gentlemen, which has recently been renewed for its third season. The publication claimed that talks were in "early stages" and a role hadn't been identified for Meghan.

Is Meghan returning to acting?

One source previously thought that Meghan may be asked to do a West End show. "Lots of people in the theatre world are talking about it," the source told us. "She has always wanted to do something like that."

Leading public relations expert Mark Borkowski told HELLO!: "I know at least three or four West End theatre producers who would have her in a production tomorrow. If Amanda Knox could be the biggest talking point of Edinburgh [Festival Fringe], why wouldn't Meghan?

Will the pair now reconcile with the royal family?

"Whether she wants to do that, I don't know, but a sharp producer would definitely see a vehicle for her."
