Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are said to be in for a quiet couple of weeks as they're being "mindful" of the King's Caribbean tour.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have not planned any public engagements over the next fortnight, a source told The Times.
This is due to them spending the October half-term holiday with their children, Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, five – but also due to King Charles's nine-day autumn tour.
The insider added that the Prince does not "set out" to "draw attention" from the royal family and will be "mindful" not to distract from the official visit, which is conducted on the advice of the UK government.
The source said it's "never his intention" to distract from the King or his brother Prince William, who is set to visit Mumbai for the Earthshot Prize in November.
Working members of the royal family's offices typically schedule important visits at intervals so they do not overshadow each other's work.
The Sussexes are expected to take part in at least one outing as a couple before the end of the year, the paper said. However, they cannot always guarantee to avoid working royals' outings as they don't receive all information in advance.
Harry and Meghan navigating work in the UK
Prince Harry and Meghan returned to the UK with their children in August, and have reportedly settled in the Cotswolds.
Following their arrival, a letter was sent by the Lord Chamberlain to senior officials on behalf of the King, clarifying their status as "private citizens", meaning they are not working royals and do not carry out royal engagements on behalf of the Crown.
Since their return, Prince Harry has continued his charitable endeavours, attending the WellChild awards and an Invictus event in September.
The Sussexes have made only one joint outing together, to Nottingham in October, on the same day that the King and Queen attended the ceremonial opening of the Welsh Parliament.
During the Oman state visit last week, Harry featured in an interview with GQ Magazine, though this was filmed in September and said not to be deliberately timed to clash with the visit.
Meghan 'busy' after returning to the UK
Sources previously told HELLO! that Meghan will be focusing on her children and her As Ever brand over public outings in the UK.
"Her diary is full," an insider said. "They've got the kids settled. Archie and Lili are really enjoying school. She is able to now stick her head above the parapet a little bit more."
The Duchess has also landed a role as the co-host of Junior MasterChef in Australia, which will see her travelling back Down Under for filming after visiting with Prince Harry in April.
Meanwhile, the King arrived in the Bahamas on Tuesday for the start of a nine-day regional tour, including a solo state visit to Guyana.
It will culminate in the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) hosted by Antigua and Barbuda and presided over by the King, joined by Queen Camilla, in his role as head of the "family of Nations".
