While their younger siblings partied at Coachella festival, Kourtney and Kim Kardashian jetted away for their own family getaway in Iceland. The famous sisters were joined by a group including Kim's husband Kanye West and close friend Jonathan Cheban to explore the majestic island over the weekend.

The sisters arrived at Keflavik International Airport on Sunday morning, and wasted no time in getting to see the sights, ensuring to keep their fans updated with their antics along the way.

"ICELAND," Kourtney captioned a photo of the group, which included their close friends Simon Huck, Nicole Reda and Kim's assistant Stephanie Sheppard.

The group took in the stunning scenery and posed for photos in front of a waterfall together. Kim also shared an image of the awe-inspiring scene, simply telling fans: "Iceland Waterfall."

It is believed that Kanye is filming a music video in the country, although the visit also coincides with Kourtney's 37th birthday on Monday. The group appear to have started the celebrations early, and Kourtney shared a photo of her birthday cake on Snapchat, telling fans: "I made a really good wish."

The siblings' European adventure comes just a couple of weeks after their mum Kris Jenner surprised them with a skiing holiday to Vail, Colorado. The 60-year-old arranged an "aviation scavenger trip" for her daughters, not revealing their destination until their private jet touched down in the popular ski destination.

One Kardashian sibling who missed out on the fun was Rob Kardashian, who was instead spending time with his girlfriend Blac Chyna. The couple, who have been dating since January, revealed their surprise engagement after Blac shared a photo of herself wearing a huge diamond ring which she simply captioned, "YES".
