Reese Witherspoon is well and truly in "vacation mode" as she enjoys some downtime in the Bahamas with her family. The Big Little Lies star jetted away for a well-deserved holiday at the end of last week, and has been sharing a series of snapshots from their trip with her fans on social media.
The actress has been joined on the trip by her husband Jim Toth and her children Ava, 17, Deacon, 13, and Tennessee, four. The family have been spending lots of time playing on the beach and relaxing in the sun judging by the photos Reese has posted, including a snap of son Tennessee paddling in the sea at sunset. "Quiet moments with this little guy," she captioned the post.

Reese also amazed fans by sharing another selfie with her lookalike daughter Ava, whose younger brothers played on the beach in the background. "#GoldenHour with the kiddos," Reese wrote, prompting many followers to comment on the uncanny resemblance between mother and daughter. "She looks just like you! Both of you are beautiful!" one wrote.

The 41-year-old has also been taking the opportunity to relax and soak up the sun by the pool at their hotel – which according to one eagle-eyed fan could be the stunning One & Only Palmilla resort. Posting her first photo from the holiday on Friday, Reese could be seen lying on a sunlounger next to the pool, while wearing sunglasses and a straw hat. "#VacationMode leave a message at the beep," Reese commented.

The family's holiday comes just a week after Reese and Jim celebrated their sixth wedding anniversary together. The Hollywood actress celebrated the occasion by posting a photo of herself and her husband together on Instagram, adding the caption: "Six years ago I was lucky enough to marry this wonderful man. He makes me laugh everyday and supports me in everything I do. Happy anniversary, JT! Here's to many more!"
