Carly Rae Jepsen is in the "best" time of her life.
On Tuesday, March 17, the "Call Me Maybe" singer announced the birth of her first child, with husband Cole M.G.N.
The first-time mom, 40, took to Instagram to share the news, sharing a mirror selfie on Instagram stories of her in a white t-shirt and black shorts, and her newborn, who appears wearing a minty-green striped onesie with a matching hat, is cradled in her arm.
"Last 2 weeks have been the best of my life," she wrote. "Welcome to the world little one."

Cole, whose real name is Cole Marsden Greif-Neill, was born in March 1985 in Los Angeles, and graduated from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts in 2007.
He has since become a multi-talent musician, working in record producing, songwriting, and mixing. He is a former member of Ariel Pink's project Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti, and has also worked as Beck's sound engineer, and with musicians like The Vaccines, Snoop Dogg, and Charlotte Gainsbourg, among others.
Cole, 41, has a whopping six Grammys, winning his first three in 2015, for his work on Beck's 2014 album Morning Phase, which won Album of the Year, Best Rock Album, and Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical. He won another two in 2018 for his work on Beck's 2017 album Colors, and a sixth in 2021 for Beck's 2019 album Hyperspace.
The couple, who tied the knot in October 2025, met in a songwriting session in May 2021, started working as friends, and later started dating in 2022. The first song they wrote together is titled "No Labels I Love You."
Cole proposed in September 2024, during a month-long vacation, at the Hotel Castello di Reschio in Umbria, Italy. Carly shared the news on Instagram, writing: "Very engaged over here," alongside a series of photos with her now-husband, including a selfie that captured her solitaire ring, a dark stone set on a gold band.
Carly and Cole married on October 4, 2025, at the historic Chelsea Hotel, a cultural institution known for the many musicians and artists it once claimed as residents. For the special day, Carly wore a series of ultra-romantic, whimsical dresses, first a Toni Maticevski dress for the ceremony, later a reception dress by the ever-popular Danielle Frankel.
