Jon Bon Jovi is a huge tennis fan who recently showed up at the Miami Open Tournament to share support for several tennis stars.

Not only was the iconic singer star-struck, but so were the players themselves, who shared their pictures posing next to Jon online.

Iga Swiatek recalled a sweet moment on social media and shared: "WHATTT. Legend! @jonbonjovi. Fun fact: I bought the Slippery When Wet vinyl during my kinda breakthrough tournament in Toronto in 2019 and it has a special place in my heart. It was amazing to meet you."

Jon's love for tennis

The Hall of Famer attended the WTA 1000 tournament last year with his family which included his son Jake and daughter-in-law Millie Bobby Brown. He also regularly attends the U.S. Open year after year.

On top of Jon being a huge fan of tennis players, he's also a vocal advocate for them. While speaking on The Howard Stern Show, he shared the changes he wants to see in tennis.

He expressed: "Tennis players have a lot more going for [them] than the musicians. They are magicians. What tennis players need, is they need roadies. That's what they need. That's what musicians have and tennis players need. They need roadies."

Jon added: "Somebody to hand them the racket. Somebody to wipe their brow, open the water bottle, hang it in tune nicely. This is the way it should be. I'm rooting for that."

He also expressed that being a player is much harder than being a professional musician and said: "To have a match at any level and then lose, pack your bag and move on. That's tough, you know. And the time changes, it's not easy. Rock and roll at my level is a lot more luxurious than the hard work that these tennis guys go through," per Florida Tennis.

Jon's favorites

The "Livin' on a Prayer" singer revealed who his favorite players are and shared: "Oh several. Obviously, Carlito [Alcaraz], he would be right up there. And Roger [Federer] and Rafa [Nadal] and Sascha [Zverev] are my top favorite guys."

As for what he loves most about the sport, he expressed: "I love the athleticism. I can't get over the singular sport that it is. You know these guys are such incredible mental and physical specimens.” Jon comically revealed: "I play religiously and I stick."

Before the Miami Open kicked off in 2024, Jon practiced on the courts with Cameron Norrie, before the tennis player joined him at his Palm Beach mansion for lunch.

The two met thanks to Cameron's girlfriend Louise Jacobi who attended college with one of Bon Jovi's children.
