Jack Black is a recognizable face in Hollywood today, but fans struggled to believe they were looking at the same person in a photo of the star before he found fame.
The 56-year-old had fans doing a double take when a photo of him from 1992 was shared on social media again this week by Bigdreams.in.
The School of Rock star has been sporting a gray beard and long dark hair for years, but he looks unrecognizable as a 23-year-old with short hair, sharp cheekbones, and a chiseled jawline.
Despite the photo being enhanced from the original by editing (Jack has brown eyes, not blue), fans were shocked to discover that it was him in the image, staring intently at the camera.
Many took to the comments to admire his "model" good looks, with one commenting: "He actually has that model face for those high end fashion brands."
A second gushed: "Those cheekbones!!" A third added: "I mean he was a different kind of hot back then. Like a sexy dangerous hot. Now he's this more teddy bear hot!"
Not only did Jack's career go from strength to strength, but his personal life did too. In February, he celebrated his 20th wedding anniversary with his wife, Tanya Haden.
To commemorate the special day, Jack took to Instagram and shared a heartfelt tribute to Tanya, 54, along with photos of the two throughout the years.

"20 years! Happy anniversary my love," the doting dad wrote in his caption.
Jack and Tanya didn't start dating until March 2005, when they were in their early 30s, despite meeting over a decade earlier, when both went to the famed Santa Monica private school Crossroads.

One year after their relationship began, they eloped in March 2006 and married in a private ceremony in Big Sur, California, when Tanya was around six months pregnant with their son, Samuel.
"We started getting very serious, and the relationship hit the ground running," Jack previously said on Dax Shepard's Armchair Expert podcast. "It's like we were making up for lost time."
© Getty ImagesHe added: "We didn't get married because it was like, [we] don't really believe in the contract and that whole thing. Why is it necessary? And then as soon as she had a baby in her belly, my brother was like, 'What the hell are you – you marry her!'
"I was like, you're right, dude. I got on bended knee, and she laughed and said yes."
