For Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, 2026 is a year of many milestones, including their coming 30th wedding anniversary this October.
It also marks 20 years since they embarked on the Soul2Soul II Tour, the second iteration of their co-headlining Soul2Soul touring line-up.
That first began in 2000 with the Soul2Soul Tour, followed then in 2017-18 by Soul2Soul: The World Tour. The tour was the second co-headlining concert tour by Tim and Faith, nearly a decade into their marriage at the time.
Tim, 59, marked the milestone on social media with a teaser clip from the shows, which showcased just how much of an impact the country music stars had on the industry at the time. At their peak, Tim and Faith, 58, were essentially pop culture royalty, and one of the most powerful couples in music.
"20 years since Soul2Soul II, and I'm still so grateful for every memory we made out there," Tim penned, asking his fans to comment on their own favorite memories from the tour. The couple's youngest daughter, Audrey left a collection of heart emojis in the comments, while their oldest daughter, Gracie commented: "20 years!! Woah!"
Others left responses like: "One of the BEST concerts I've ever attended. Please do it again!" and: "20 years seems like a great time to do it again!!" as well as: "Saw them during this tour in Orlando. Still have that concert tee from that show. They are dynamite together!"
The original version of Soul2Soul grossed nearly $50 million worldwide, with the reboot in 2006 topping that with nearly $90 million grossed, making it the year's third-highest grossing tour in North America and the fifth-highest grossing tour worldwide.
They brought it back once more the following year to continue it as a multi-year series, Soul2Soul 2007, which added another $50 million to the till, making it the highest grossing country music tour of all time at the time (that honor now belongs to Beyoncé's 2025 shows The Cowboy Carter Tour).
The concept of the tour centered around the relationship between Tim and Faith, featuring a cross-shaped stage that featured several projects of photos of themselves and their family over the years. It included sets from each act, with duets interspersed in between, and covered themes of love, devotion, parenting, estrangement, and loneliness, ending with their tender love ballad "I Need You."
While Tim has continued releasing music and touring, Faith has stepped away from the spotlight, even seemingly deleting her social media profiles. She also hasn't released any new music since her 2017 album with her husband, The Rest of Our Life.
However, she did show up to support Tim in March during his induction into the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville, where he sweetly thanked his family for their support throughout his life and career.
"I wouldn't be standing here today if it weren't for great women in my life," he told the crowd. "From my grandmother to my mom, my sisters, my daughters, and most of all, to my wife. Thank you, baby. I would not be standing here today if it wasn't for you, nor would I want to be."
