Martha Stewart recently shared a special moment with his Majesty, King Charles.
The entrepreneur recalled their lengthy interaction during her visit to the Todayshow on May 13.
During her cooking segment, Craig Melvin pulled up a picture of Martha and the King, and inquired about the rare and worldly opportunity.
She revealed: "I liked him so much. He was so friendly. He talked to me for quite a long time, [even though] he had a lot of people to talk to and say hi too. It was for his foundation, which was the King's Trust."
The mogul praised the King's philanthropic efforts and added: "And it's for young entrepreneurs and helping people start businesses – just a lovely initiative."
The King's Trust Gala successfully raised over $3 million in funds during the eventful evening, which included other celebrities such as Lionel Richie, Iman, Donatella Versace, Anna Wintour and more.
Craig asked: "You're probably used to people bowing when they see you. When you saw him, did you bow?"
Martha shared: "I curtsied the right way. You just have to nod your head and cross your foot like that," as she showed herself doing so.
Martha's earlier memories with the King
Before Martha had her wholesome interaction with the King, she exclusively spoke with HELLO! on the red carpet, and recalled her early memories with his Majesty.
She revealed: "I would like to revisit the last time he was here in the United States when he was a young prince. I think I met him then."
Martha added what both of them were doing at the time: "Back then, oh my gosh, publishing, writing books. He was building a garden. He's a very good gardener, and I'm very interested in that."
Martha's beauty secret
The ageless beauty also spilled the secret to her youthful glow, which has nothing to do with a pricey skincare product.
She shared: "Curiosity and interest in many things and optimism."
Martha's new era
That curiosity keeps the mogul going, as she continues to reinvent herself over the years before our very own eyes, and she has no plans of slowing down at 84.
Instead, she teased some of her upcoming projects, expressing: "I'm doing a lot right now. You'll see. I'm into software. I'm into skincare. I'm into bed and baths. You'll see. So much."
King Charles and Queen Camilla visited the United States over a span of four days. The trip included a visit to the White House, a visit to Virginia's Arlington Cemetery, and the King addressing Congress, on top of the King's Trust Gala.
