Violet is a singer who recently announced her upcoming debut album titled, Be Sweet To Me, which will be released on May 29 through Republic Records, and she put out her new single "595" to tease her upcoming project.

Violet will also headline the 2026 CBGB Festival in Brooklyn in September. Last year she released her singles, "THUM," and "Applefish."

She is heavily influenced by '80s and '90s alternative music and shared some of the singers who inspire her, expressing: "There's something so powerful about that period of music, from the messaging to the visuals, it's authentic and raw. PIXIES, SOUNDGARDEN, COCTEAU TWINS, THE BREEDERS, PJ Harvey, THE MUFFS, Björk, ALICE IN CHAINS, L7, Juliana Hatfield. I've listened to that stuff since I was a kid," via BlabberMouth.

The father-daughter duo have a shared love for music that makes their bond strong.

The duo performed Adele's "When We Young" onstage together in 2018 during a benefit concert for the UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals, when Violet was 12 at the time.

In 2021, the pair put out a cover of X's "Nausea." Two years later, the two performed "Show Me How" during the Glastonbury Festival.

Dave gushed about Violet during his appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! as he recalled what it was like working alongside her for the first time.

He shared: "It's the first time she and I have recorded together, just the two of us. I'm so proud of it because I love her very much and she's an amazing singer, but it kind of follows this lineage and family history from this guy in Switzerland to now my daughter Violet. It's this Bonebrake family tree that means a lot to me."

Being that Violet was Dave's firstborn, he is especially connected to her and admitted that becoming a father changed him.

Dave revealed to People: "We don't talk about how much we drank last night [anymore]. [Now] it's how much sleep we got, how much sleep the baby got, diaper rash, formula."

He continued: "We used to go on the road for three months at a time. It's a struggle for me to leave for even 12 days. I realized the life I always imagined beginning once the band ended has to begin now."

Violet isn't the only musician in the family – Harper is a talented pianist, who got her first lesson from Paul McCartney when she was five.

Harper also performed alongside her sister and father in 2018 during a benefit concert. She played the drums, while Violet and Dave sang "The Sky Is A Neighborhood," as well as "We Will Rock You."

Opelia appeared on her favorite show Ryan's Mystery Playdate in 2019 alongside her dad when she was five years old.

Dave opened up about his fourth child on social media, writing: "I've recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage. I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her."

He continued: "I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness. We're grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward together."
