Tara Reid is back on the red carpet circuit.
This week, the American Pie actress, 50, stepped out in Cannes for a slew of red carpet appearances, among them a film premiere and the annual amfAR gala at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Cap d'Antibes.
Her slate of outings come six months after she was allegedly hospitalized after being drugged, she claimed, at a hotel in Chicago.
For a screening of Histoires De La Nuit (The Birthday Party), a French drama written and directed by Léa Mysius, Tara wore a black, one-shoulder gown adorned with a large white flower, and she accessorized with a large emerald necklace, plus a watch and bracelets.
Just the day prior, she stepped out for amfAR in a whimsical white sheer gown, featuring a plunging neckline and billowing sleeves.
Tara's appearance comes six months after reports circulated that she had been hospitalized, after which she claimed she had been drugged at a hotel bar in Chicago, and needed medical assistance.
"Tara Reid is trying to file a police report after an incident in which she believes her drink was tampered with. She is cooperating fully with the investigation," a spokesperson for the actress told Us Weekly in a November 2025 statement, noting: "Tara is recovering and asks for privacy during this traumatic time."
"She also urges everyone to be careful, watch your drinks and never leave them unattended, as this can happen to anyone. She will not be making further comments at this stage," the red added.
Chicago law enforcement later told the outlet however that no evidence had been found to corroborate her claims.
"After receiving the report alleging her drink being tampered with, Rosemont detectives reviewed surveillance from the hotel which includes video at the hotel bar," they said in a statement.
"In addition, multiple interviews have been conducted," they maintained. "While video surveillance showed Tara Reid at the hotel bar, at no time did [the] video show anyone tampering with or adding something to her drink. We can confirm that a bartender covered her drink when she left the bar which is standard practice for bartenders to do."
Tara is still acting today, most recently appearing in a romantic comedy titled The Dreamer Cinderella, which was released in January.
