Jessica Alba just styled two of fashion’s boldest fabrics together: whisper-thin lace and buttery leather. The actress stepped out for the launch of Lionel Messi's collaboration with Kith and Adidas at Inter Miami CF's stadium.
The 45-year-old put a spin on 'naked' dressing with a see-through black lace top that was layered over a simple black bra. The garment was styled with leather capri pants, a cropped black blazer, and a pair of open-toe heels for a full monochromatic fit. Jessica's luscious locks were styled into curls while her makeup oozed soft glam, courtesy of a shimmery eye and a glossy lip.
Jessica's outfit is part of the larger underwear-as-outerwear trend that continues to blur the line between lingerie and evening wear. During Miu Miu’s autumn/winter 2025 runway, bras were layered beneath ribbed knits or seen peeking out from under ruffled silk dresses. Simone Rocha styled fuzzy fur bras with leather jackets and billowing skirts, while Sarah Burton at Givenchy layered delicate bras beneath sheer mesh dresses.
The naked dress trend is defined by its barely-there materials, sheer mesh, metallic knits, chainmail, lace, and airy organza all play a part in its ethereal appeal.
Double leather
Jessica has been serving up a fashion marathon of leather looks. On May 27, she graced the Gabriel & Co. "Love, Perfected" Campaign Launch at La Cave at Wynn Las Vegas. For the occasion, the actress wore a skin-tight black leather dress that featured a deep v-neckline and a sleeveless design. The garment contoured every inch of her sculpted figure and was cut elegantly at the ankle.
The campaign captures Jessica in a collection of lifestyle shots that showcase Gabriel & Co. pieces suited for everything from special celebrations to everyday styling.
"Jessica brings an authenticity and grace that aligns seamlessly with our brand, making her the perfect choice to bring our vision to life," said Dominick Gabriel, chief design officer and co-founder, Gabriel & Co. "The campaign truly reflects our belief that love is built slowly with intention, attention, and time which is the spirit behind all of our designs.”
"Jewelry has always been such a personal expression for me, it's not just about how something looks, but what it represents. I chose to work with Gabriel & Co. because they bring this to life in such a genuine way, creating pieces that celebrate both everyday beauty and life's biggest milestones. It becomes part of your life, your memories, and the moments you want to hold onto,” said Jessica of the collaboration.
