Jennifer Lopez's eldest child, Emme Maribel Muñiz, graduated from high school on May 28. Emme's father, Marc Anthony, was seemingly absent from the celebration, with the 18-year-old supported by their mom, twin brother Max, and former stepbrother, Samuel Affleck.
It also appears that Emme graduated with a new name. In a March post shared by an Instagram account that tracks the college decisions of graduating Windward seniors, Jennifer's kid was named as Oskar Muñiz and revealed that they plan to begin college to study theater and studio arts this fall.
The post featured a childhood photo of Emme alongside their new name and future college logo. "Oskar to Sarah Lawrence! No more impromptu NYC trips because he'll be living there! Good thing it’s only a few hours away from Stagedoor. Go gryphons!! Congrats!!!" read the caption.

Meanwhile, the singer welcomed her twins, Max and Emme, with her ex-husband, Marc Anthony, in February 2008. Although Jennifer and Marc separated in 2011, they have maintained a strong bond and continue to co-parent their children amicably.
However, Jennifer has not yet confirmed Emme's name change. Emme and Samuel were photographed chatting at the graduation, with the 18-year-old dressed in a smart beige suit.

The star has previously opened up about her kids flying the nest. "I feel really good about it," she told Entertainment Tonight earlier this year. "I'm like, [I] can't believe that we've gotten here, you know, just the three of us. It's, you know, been a journey for all three of us through this life [because] I was a single mom since they were 3 years old."

Although Jennifer faces an empty nest, she expressed that she’s "so excited" for her twins to experience life independently. "I'm so excited for that because I know that they have this like, home for them to come home to that is solid and will be solid for them for the rest of their life, and they know that, even more importantly," she said. "So they have that love and they can go out and do whatever they want."
