Savannah Guthrie's mom Nancy Guthrie has been missing for over 100 days, and the Today star is desperately hoping for her safe return.

On June 8, the NBC host co-hosted the Fourth Hour alongside Jenna Bush Hager, where her mom's disapparance became the topic of conversation.

Jenna praised Savannah - who had returned to work following a day off on Friday - for her strength in returning to work while her mother remains missing.

"First of all, I can't even look at you every day without crying," Savannah said in response. "You are my best friend and it's really hard to come back and I've tried so hard to pull it together and I promise I will, but this show.... when I see you in the morning, I know you see me. Sometimes that's almost too much. I feel to do the job, I've got to keep it together, but I'm happy to be back. It's two hours of my day. I am thinking about it, but it's something to do and it brings me a lot of joy to be with everybody. But it's not easy."

The star added: "I know people maybe wonder what's going on, how is she able to do that job, how is she not thinking about it, did she forget? No, never, never." Jenna echoed her sentiment: "And neither have we. We have your back and be with you forever with this. We will never forget." Savannah then urged viewers: "We still need everybody's prayers. For someone to call with what they know."

Savannah had shared a cryptic message on Instagram the night before. Taking to Instagram Stories on June 7, the TV anchor posted a picture of a religious painting and the words "Oh my, my soul, it cries out, soul, it cries out", followed by: "Bring her home."

Nancy is believed to have been taken from her home in Tucson, Arizona. She was last seen on January 31, where she attended a family game night at her daughter Annie and her husband Tommaso Cioni - who dropped Annie home.

She was reported missing the following day after failing to show up at a friend's house to watch a church service online. The case continues to remain active, with Nancy's disappearance reaching 100 days on May 11. On day 100, Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos told local station KOLD-TV: "I believe, at some point in time, we will make an arrest on this case. We're not going to give up on it just because it's been 100 days."

Savannah recently marked her first Mother's Day since her beloved mom went missing on May 10. The TV host shared several clips capturing moments with her mom and other family members.

Alongside it, she wrote: "Mother, daughter, sister, Nonie – we miss you with every breath. We will never stop looking for you. We will never be at peace until we find you."

Savannah continued: "We need help. Someone knows something that can make the difference. Call 1800CALLFBI. You can be anonymous and the reward remains available," concluding with: "Please keep praying. Bring her home."
