Michael Bublé will perform at the FIFA World Cup opening ceremony in Toronto on June 12, and the proud Canadian will be cheered on by his loving wife, Luisana Lopilato.
The 50-year-old has been married to the Argentine actress, model, and former singer, 39, for 15 years and has described her as his "hero."
"In any good marriage, I hope that your partner is a big part in keeping it real. My wife helps me keep perspective. She's a centered, kind, beautiful human being who has her life together," he told People in 2018.
He also shared the secret to their long-lasting marriage in 2023, telling Red magazine: "More than anything, my wife and I understand that each other's fulfillment is important."

Model, actress, singer
Luisana was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on May 18, 1987, and has had a successful career of her own. At just eight years old, she appeared in the TV series Mi Familia es un Dibujo – My Family is a Drawing. She then went on to appear in Chiquititas, a music TV show in Argentina, when she was 12 years old, and broke out globally playing Mía Colucci in the 2002 teen drama Rebelde Way.
As a result of her work in Chiquititas, she went on to launch her own singing career and recorded four soundtrack albums for the show between 1999 and 2001. She later reached international fame as a core member of the music group Erreway, and also has an impressive modelling portfolio, working for brands including Gillette, L'Oréal Paris, and Ultimo.

Meet-Cute
Michael and Luisana met in November 2008 at an afterparty for one of his shows in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He didn't speak Spanish, and she didn't speak English, so her sister reportedly acted as a translator between the two.
Despite the language barrier, the pair began dating and eventually learned each other's language. He wrote his 2009 hit song, "Haven't Met You Yet," about Luisana and even had her star in the music video.
In November 2009, Michael proposed to Luisana in front of her family in Argentina. "I was so nervous before I asked my wife to marry me. It was the scariest decision of my life," he told Cosmopolitan in 2014. "I did it in front of her family, who are Argentinian, and I'd learnt Spanish specially. That was the scariest part — being in front of them and asking her father's permission beforehand."

15th wedding anniversary
For their 15th wedding anniversary on March 31, 2026, the couple penned sweet tributes to each other on social media.
"Lu, you are everything real in a world that can sometimes feel like smoke and mirrors. You're the truth in all the noise, the calm in every storm, and the light that keeps guiding me home," Michael captioned a video compilation on Instagram of the couple throughout their relationship.
He added: "I honestly don't know who I'd be without you. I know I wouldn't be this man. I know I wouldn't have built this life, or found this kind of purpose, or known this kind of love. 15 years of marriage and we've created a life that's bigger than anything I ever dreamed of. Happy anniversary, Mi Amor. I'd choose you in every lifetime. @luisanalopilato."
Luisana also shared photos of the couple on Instagram, alongside the message: "15 years married and 4 more since our paths first crossed. Our destiny felt written by God, and every single day I give thanks for this deep love, for the way our eyes still find each other, and for these kisses that still feel as magical as the very first ones. What a truly beautiful love story we've created, and this wonderfully wild thing we call family only makes everything we are together even more meaningful and immense."

Kids
Michael and Luisana are parents to four children: sons Noah, 12, and Elias, 10, and daughters Vida, seven, and Cielo, three.
The singer shared his excitement about becoming a girl dad before Vida's birth in July 2018, during a radio interview. He said at the time: "I got my first little girl coming in three weeks, and I've never actually said that before in public. I've got a daughter coming."
Four years later, the couple welcomed their second daughter, Cielo, on August 19, 2022. "From love comes life, light and her... our baby Cielo Yoli Rose Bublé. You finally arrived to our lives with your 3,8 kg!!! Thanks God for this infinite blessing, we love you!! Noah, Elias, Vida and your mom and dad," they announced on Instagram.
In May 2022, Michael admitted that Cielo would likely be their last child. "We're really trying to be present with the pregnancy because, most likely, it's the last time," the singer told People. "I want it to be really special for [Luisana], and I know it goes really fast. Since it's probably the last one, I just want to make sure that we're really enjoying every second of it."

Noah's cancer diagnosis
In 2016, Michael and Luisana's worlds were turned upside down by the devastating news that their son Noah, then three, had liver cancer. "We are devastated by the recent cancer diagnosis of our eldest son Noah who is currently in treatment in the US," Michael wrote in a statement. "Luisana and I have put our careers on hold in order to devote all our time and attention to helping Noah get well."
After his son was given the all-clear in 2017, Michael opened up about the trauma his family had gone through. Speaking to Australian publication Herald Sun, he said: "You know what? Hell seems like a really nice place to vacation compared to where we've been. I don't talk about the whole story, not even to my friends because it hurts too much."
Michael also praised his wife for getting him through the awful experience. While appearing on The Late Late Show with James Corden, he said: "When this all started, I became the strength to somehow pull us and lift us and to be positive. When they got [the cancer] out and the chemo was done and they said, 'We did it, it's good, he's okay,' I fell, I just fell. My wife picks me up now.'"
