Who is Meg Tilly?
Meg Tilly was born in California on 14 February, 1960. She's best known for films like The Big Chill (1983), Psycho II (1983) and Masquerade (1988).
The actress is a mother of three and has also authored several books, including the beloved Solace Island romance trilogy.

Married life
Meg first tied the knot in 1983, wedding American producer Tim Zinnemann. The couple share two children together, daughter Emily and son David.
The couple separated in 1989. Meg then began dating English actor Colin Firth, with whom she welcomed son Will. Meg remarried in 1995, saying 'I do' to producer John Calley. They split in 2002 and she married now-husband, author Don Calame, the same year.

Emily Zinnemann
Emily Zinnemann, the oldest child of Meg Tilly, was born in 1984 to the actress and her first husband Tim.
Emily keeps her private life well hidden, but her mother spoke about her earlier years in an interview with People. On taking her children to set with her, she said: "I would always take my children with me when I went on movies. That worked really well for a few years. But then one year, we went to shoot Leaving Normal and when we came back, my daughter's best friend was best friends with someone else. She was devastated."

David Zinnemann
Born in 1986, David Zinnemann is Meg Tilly's oldest son, the younger of her two children welcomed with husband Tim. Unlike his famous family, David has chosen to keep a low profile away from the spotlight
Speaking on her son's upbringing, Meg said: “I don’t know if I did my son’s wives a disservice now, because the boys are like, ‘Oh moms, they make all the food and do all the laundry and all that'".

Will Firth
Born in 1990, Willia, Joseph Firth, known as Will, is the son of Meg Tilly and her then-partner Colin Firth. Like both of his parents, he's pursued a career in acting, first appearing in Spider-Man (2002) and working with his father several times on projects like Hope Springs and Bridget Jones's Baby.
His most recent projects include 2016 drama Saddenly Now, 2018 horror Caged and 2019 comedy Love Type D.

Will's Hollywood heartthrob father
Meg and Colin met on the set of the lush period drama Valmont. They quickly fell for each other and moved with Meg's two children to a remote log cabin in Maple Ridge, British Columbia.
They share a son, Will, and Meg has publicly praised the Pride and Prejudice star as her "best friend". "He's been a good father to Will, his son," she explained, "but he’s also stayed very present in my other two children’s lives, Emily and David. He’s showed up for graduations, births of babies. He's a sweetheart."

Where is she now?
Oscar-nominated actress Meg Tilly is now mostly busy as an author, penning hits like A Taste of Heaven (2013), Solace Island (2017) and The Runaway Heiress (2021).
She recently made a return to acting in two episodes of Caprica and a star role in Bomb Girls, the story of women's munitions work during WWII.
