Ivanka Trump just proved that all-in-ones are the ultimate style statement this season, surpassing the classic dress.

The First Daughter wore a black catsuit to President Donald Trump's 80th birthday celebration. The UFC event was held on the grounds of the White House on June 14. The elegant one-piece featured a plunging neckline with delicate spaghetti straps and tapered into cigarette-style trousers that were cropped just above the ankle.

The chic number was styled with black pointed-toe heels and a leather clutch bag for a minimalist approach to evening dressing. Ivanka's blonde locks were left down in a sleek, straight style while her makeup oozed glam, courtesy of a dark smoky eye and a nude lip.

Ivanka took to Instagram following the event to share a series of photographs from the night. "Absolutely epic night celebrating UFC Freedom 250 at the White House!" she penned in the caption.

It seemed all-black outfits were on the sartorial agenda for the occasion, with Melania Trump also opting for a monochromatic look. The First Lady a simple black midi dress that featured a square-cut neckline and straight silhouette. The garment was layered with a sultry leather jacket and teamed with pointed-toe pumps.

Melania's caramel-hued locks were styled into soft waves and she accessorized with a gold cross pendant necklace.

The event featured a performance of The Star-Spangled Banner by the Zac Brown Band, followed by a dramatic 12-jet flyover overhead. Senior administration figures including Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth, Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick were all in attendance.

It turned out to be a family affair with Ivanka joined by Donald Trump Jr. Eric Trump, and Barron Trump, along with other members of the family.

Ivanka Trump's step back

Ivanka chose not to take up an advisory position during her father Donald Trump's second presidential term. "If you don't know who you are, the world will tell you, and it may not be an answer you want," she said on the David Senra podcast.

"The world is noisy, especially when you have a certain level of visibility; it projects onto you as much as it receives you, so I think you have to do the work of really getting to know yourself and what feels right."

She continued: "Some of the hardest decisions I've taken – and sometimes it's really about saying no, and setting boundaries, changing course – when those decisions, regardless of how hard they are, align with your values, it always feels good."

Ivanka added that while it "can be difficult" to make those decisions, "you never question it, you never second-guess, and you don't look back and wonder, 'What if?'"

"It's the decisions you take that don't fully feel right, that don't align with your true self, with those core values that you hold – those are the things that I think you always regret," she concluded.
