The Oscar-nominated actor, 39, is currently dating comedian and actress Julia Shiplett, also 39, best known for playing Mimi in Overcompensating, with whom he went public in June 2025.

Elliot posted an adorable selfie of himself and Julia in front of a wooded area over the weekend, aka Pride Weekend, on Instagram, simply captioning it with a heart emoji.
The post quickly garnered several adoring responses, and equally appropriate emojis, from several friends like Julianne Moore, Natasha Lyonne, Shannon Woodward, and Kid Fury.
Others left comments like: "You deserve so much happiness Elliott! Happy Pride King!" and: "I love seeing beautiful people being together!" as well as: "This picture is art, so happy for you!!!!"
Elliot's comedian girlfriend — who is Julia Shiplett?
Julia is a comedian, writer and actress who gained prominence on social media in 2021, especially for her impression of Miya Ponsetto, a parody of the SoHo Karen incident.
She made her screen debut in 2018 in an episode of the show Crashing, plus a voice role in the show American Dad! and the miniseries Ad World before landing her recurring role in Overcompensating, which will soon return for a second season.
