Billy Zane made a rare family appearance over the weekend as he stepped onto the red carpet with his teenage daughter, leaving fans doing a double take over just how youthful the Hollywood star still looks.

The 60-year-old Titanic actor attended the Minions & Monsters premiere in Los Angeles accompanied by his daughter, Ava, in an outing that delighted fans of the famously private actor.

Billy looked effortlessly stylish in a cream baseball cap, black knit sweater layered over a patterned shirt, tailored cream trousers and suede loafers, with a lightweight jacket casually draped over his shoulder.

The sweet father-daughter moment offered a glimpse into Billy's life away from Hollywood, with the actor beaming proudly beside his eldest child as they stopped for photographers before heading inside the event.

Billy remains best known to millions of fans as the wealthy Cal Hockley in James Cameron's 1997 blockbuster Titanic, opposite Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet.

He recently gave a shoutout to Ava on Father's Day posting a sweet moment on Instagram with the caption: "At @nortonsimon museum with @avakzane between her sister Gia’s matinee and evening performances.
