Cheech Marin has been making people laugh for decades since he popped onto the scene in the 1970s, and he shows no signs of slowing down as he turned 80 on July 13.
He made a name for himself alongside his friend Tommy Chong, thanks to their hilarious comedy act called Cheech & Chong.
The comedian went on to act in Born in East L.A., Ghostbusters II, Christmas with the Kranks, Race to Witch Mountain, Married...with Children and more.
He has also been the voice behind numerous animated Disney films including the Cars franchise, The Lion King, Beverly Hills Chihuahua and more.
On top of his on-screen career, he is also a musician and he released his albums My Name is Cheech, the School Bus Driver and My Name is Cheech, The School Bus Drive: Coast to Coast, which were both under the children's music genre.
He also published a children's book titled Cheech the School Bus Driver.
Cheech participated on Celebrity Jeopardy's Million Dollar Celebrity Invitational and Rachael vs. Guy: Celebrity Cook-Off. The star also launched The Cheech Marin Center for Chicano Art, Culture and Industry.
Aside from his successful career, the star was married three times. Firstly, he tied the knot with Darlene Morley in 1975, and they were married until 1984.
The pair welcomed their daughter Carmen Marin, born in 1966. Two years later, he married Patti Heid and they stayed together until calling it quits in 2009.
The couple welcomed their son Joey Marin into the world in 1985, as well as their daughter Jasmine Marin in 1993.

Cheech and Natasha performed their cabaret show called "How Did This Guy…Get That Girl," in February, which poked fun at their relationship.
Natasha, who was born in Russia, is a talented pianist who also has her own music production company called Marin Salon Series.
The couple first performed together back in 2010 and Natasha recalled to The Keene Sentinel: "We went on feedback from people. We continued to develop the cabaret show, making it bigger and adjusting it. We've mostly done it for charity events."
Some of Cheech's children have followed his path into the world of art and entertainment.
Jasmine attended the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where she studied fine and studio arts. She also acted in Spy Kids 2: Island of Lost Dreams as the character of Spy Girl.
She interned at The Famous Group, has been Leo Burnett's associate producer and she's also volunteered for Ronald McDonald House Charities and No2Six6.
Jasmine serves as the art director of Cheech and Chong's cannabis company called Cheech's Private Stash.
Her brother Joey serves as the director of operations at Cheech's Private Stash and he attended both California State University-Northridge as well as San Francisco State University.
