Lauren Sánchez Bezos is spending her summer the right way: under the sun.
Over the weekend, the former journalist gave a glimpse into her latest vacation, sharing a fresh-out-of-the-water selfie of her laying out in the sun.
The post comes just one month after celebrating her first wedding anniversary with husband Jeff Bezos, who she married in a star-studded wedding in Venice, Italy on June 27, 2025.
© InstagramTaking to Instagram, Lauren shared a black and white selfie set to Calvin Harris' song "Summer." The snap sees her laying down on a towel wearing a plunging black swimsuit and oversized sunglasses. Her long black hair appears fresh off of a dip in the water, and she has two diamond tennis bracelets dangling on her wrist.
She later also shared a photo of the moon above the ocean while the day was still bright out, and wrote: "Imagine if the moon did what everyone expected, and only came out at night."
Many of Lauren's recent Instagram posts have been odes to the ocean, among them a celebration of Shark Week, the week-long Discovery Channel annual event celebrating sharks, marine biology and ocean exploration via special programming.
© InstagramSharing photos and clips of herself diving in the Galápagos Islands and swimming up to sharks, Lauren wrote: "When I was diving near the Galápagos Islands, I got the chance to swim up close with whitetip reef sharks and just watch them exist. I was scared at first, but then they swam past, peacefully."
"Sharks help keep the whole reef in balance. They're predators, so they keep everything else in check, which means reefs actually recover faster after heat waves and storms," she added. "Some of them travel thousands of miles between deep and shallow water, and everywhere they go, they move nutrients that the rest of the ocean depends on."
"They've survived almost everything this planet has thrown at them, and have been around for 400 million years…" she continued, though noted: "But now more than a third of shark species are threatened with extinction."
She then shouted out her and her husband's Bezos Earth Fund, which they launched in 2020, $10 billion commitment to fund scientists, activists, NGOs and other actors that will drive climate and nature solutions.

"Celebrating Shark Week kicking off today, because the more you learn about them, the less scary they get… and the more incredible," Lauren concluded.
