Happy birthday, Maureen McCormick, or as many people know her, the subject of one of the most iconic three-word catchphrases, "Marcia, Marcia, Marcia!"
The actress, who celebrates her milestone 70th birthday on August 5, has been acting for over six decades, getting her start in a variety of '60s TV shows before breaking through with The Brady Bunch.
She played Marcia Brady, the eldest Brady daughter, the beautiful and popular one who was the archetype of the "perfect one," earning the ire of especially her younger sister Jan Brady (played by Eve Plumb).
© Getty ImagesAnd she still has that same Marcia Brady flair to this day! While Maureen hasn't appeared on screen since 2023, she actively attends LA-based celebrity conventions and events, and is also active on social media.
In one of her more recent Instagram posts, the actress shared a photo of herself with her longtime husband Michael Cummings, to whom she has been married since 1985, and fans remarked on how beautiful the actress still is.
"Looking great you two!!" one said of the couple, with another adding: "Lookin good guys!" a third saying: "You're so beautiful :)," and one similarly writing: "You're so gorgeous Maureen. Such a beautiful pic of you two!"
Maureen's latest public appearance was at the annual Best Buddies Celebrities Bowling event in December 2025 in California, although she is set to appear this October at an event benefiting The John Ritter Foundation for Aortic Health at, yes, the real Brady Bunch house.
While Maureen hasn't appeared on film or TV since an appearance in a 2023 episode of Fantasy Island, she has continued to work off-screen, most recently appearing in an off-Broadway production of the show Pen Pals in New York City.
"It has been amazing! It really is. I feel like I've fallen in love with acting again," she told Digital Journal of her experience in November 2025. "The stage here is just incredible." Featuring a rotating cast of characters, Maureen played Bernie opposite Sharon Lawrence's Mags, two women living in different countries who've never met but bond as pen pals.
© Getty ImagesWhile Pen Pals felt like a new jolt to her acting career, she reflected on how much joy she still derives from revisiting The Brady Bunch, which aired from 1969 to 1974 (not counting its various movie versions and spin-offs).
"That show was awesome," she gushed. "I loved being a part of that show, and I dearly loved everyone connected with it. I feel like it was one of those times when everything comes together and it was just a magical connection. We had fun and everybody, including the crew, are in my heart forever."

"I think the Brady Bunch was a very inclusive family. I love that people feel like they're a part of it. So, it has been really beautiful to see and hear all those stories."
