9 foods we all loved in the '90s that have now disappeared from shelves – how many did you have?

The iconic '90s frozen snack, Flintstones Push-Up Pops, was first introduced in 1990. The frozen orange sherbet treats featured Fred Flintstone and the prehistoric family on a cardboard paper tube – sort of the original paper straws!

But, Nestlé discontinued the Flintstones-themed versions in the early 2000s. Over 20 years later, they are fondly remembered by '90s kids. 30 years later, they are fondly remembered by '90s kids. One fan wrote on social media: "Frozen treat from a toilet paper roll; these were the best."

Jell-O Pudding Pops were made famous by the controversial comedian Bill Cosby, who starred in the snack's marketing campaign. During their first year on the market, the frozen treats earned $100 million.

Pudding Pops were officially taken off the shelves in 2011, but remain high on the list of nostalgic snacks.

The Scooby-Doo! Fruit Flavored Snacks were some of my favorite snacks as a kid. Yes, they were opaque. Yes, they tasted quite chalky. But I loved them and wish I could pick them up at the grocery store today!

While Scooby-Doo snacks still technically exist, the iconic opaque colored gummy was discontinued in 2015.

If you were a child of the '90s, you ate a Kudos Bar at lunch. At the same time that crazy snacks flooded the market, so did "healthy" ones. And while Kudos Bars wouldn't be considered healthy in 2026, they were in the '90s!

Kudos Bars were a chocolate-coated granola and crispy snack bar, a.k.a. sugar-filled with very little nutritional value. They reached their peak popularity in the '90s after being introduced in 1986. By 2017, the treat was discontinued and officially taken off the shelves.

Choco Taco was a simple treat – just think ice cream and a taco. Invented in 1983, the waffle cone resembled a hard taco shell and was filled with reduced-fat vanilla ice cream, artificially flavored fudge, peanuts, and a milk chocolate coating.

After 39 years on the market, Choco Taco was discontinued by Klondike in July 2022. But, that same year, the company posted on Twitter (now known as X): "We are discussing next steps, including what to do with the last 912 (we counted) tacos at HQ. Stay tuned…" So fans of the Choco Taco should keep their eyes peeled.

'90s kids loved Dunkaroos because it gave them a bit of independence. The snack contained cookies and frosting. All the consumer had to do was dunk! Dunkaroos came in vanilla, chocolate, graham cracker, and strawberry.

The beloved snack was discontinued in 2012, but after a lot of uproar, returned in 2020.

Doritos 3D never really made sense to me. All food is 3D! But the Frito-Lay snack introduced in 1998 was beloved. Doritos 3D looked like puffed up triangles and were sold in several different flavors – Nacho Cheesier, Zesty Ranch, and Jalapeño Cheddar. After six years on the market, the snack was discontinued.

But, in 2021, Frito-Lay revived the iconic line with new flavors. Although, many fans say they aren't the same. One fan wrote on social media: "Trash. Bring back the originals."

Another one of my favorite '90s treats was Bubble Jug Bubble Gum. Instead of the gum coming in individually wrapped pieces, Bubble Jugs let the consumer shake however much gum they wanted into their mouth. 

With flavors like Tropical Fruit, Strawberry, Watermelon, and Blue Raspberry, Bubble Jugs were beloved. While the gum was originally discontinued in the early 2000s, it was brought back to market by Iconic Candy in 2024.

Another "healthy" snack of the '90s, Snackwell's Devil’s Food Cookie Cakes were beloved by moms and kids. Launched in 1992, tthe fat-free treat boasted only 50 calories per cookie. I remember eating many more than just one!

In 2019, Snackwell updated the recipe of the iconic treat and in 2022, the snack was discontinued after a lack of demand.
