Savannah Guthrie shared a heartwarming carousel on social media, in celebration of her daughter Vale Guthrie Feldman's 12th birthday on August 13.
The Today star posted sweet throwback pictures of Vale as a baby, the journalist holding her for the first time, as well as a wholesome shot of Savannah and her husband Michael Feldman kissing their newborn together.
The pair also share their second child, Charles "Charley" Max Guthrie Feldman, born in 2016.
She captioned the adorable set: "On this day, 12 years ago. I will never forget this joy. Happy birthday to my dearest Vale, growing up so beautiful, kind, soulful and wise. I thank God for you every day."

Savannah's take on motherhood
After Savannah gave birth to her firstborn Vale, she expressed on Today that her world changed overnight.
She revealed: "I feel so different. I just feel like life just started. Honestly, I can't get over the joy she brings. It's just inexpressible."
The TV star recalled the anxiety, happiness and protective nature that she felt, all at the time. Savannah joked: "I'm like, 'You're just going to let us take her home. Was there any kind of manual?'"
She shared: "But those moments I can remember being cheek-to-cheek, the tears rolling down and just having a little conversation with her like, 'I'm always going to love you. I'm always going to protect you. I'm always going to be your mommy.'"
Savannah's advice for her daughter
Vale aspires to become an actress when she grows up, and Savannah already gave her valuable advice prior to her hitting the scene one day.
Savannah revealed on the People Every Day podcast: "My daughter actually… wants to be an actress. But I always say, 'Honey, talent plus hard work can't be beat... Just keep at it. I think you're so talented. I think you're amazing, bringing the hard work.'"
