Jane Seymour delighted fans by sharing a beautiful never-before-seen photograph from her younger years, and the former Bond Girl looks almost unrecognizable.
The 75-year-old actress marked World Photography Day by opening up her personal archives and posting the nostalgic image, which shows her with extraordinarily long brunette hair falling well past her waist.
Wearing what appears to be a delicate white broderie-style blouse and a simple necklace, Jane looks fresh-faced and radiant as she smiles for the camera.
"There is something magical about an old photograph," the Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman star wrote alongside the image.
"One glance can take you straight back to a different time, a different place, even a different version of yourself. Suddenly you remember how you felt, who you were with, what mattered to you then, and all the little details you thought you had forgotten."
Jane added: "On #WorldPhotographyDay, I'm especially grateful for the photographs that have quietly held onto those memories for us."
Her followers loved the trip down memory lane, with one commenting: "Always happy to see a photo that hasn't already been all over the Internet," while another wrote: "And you haven't aged a bit; still as beautiful as ever!"
Jane Seymour's refreshingly simple approach to aging
Jane's youthful appearance has been a talking point throughout her career, but the actress has long insisted that her philosophy isn't about attempting to turn back the clock.
Speaking shortly after celebrating her 75th birthday this year, she said she considers getting older something to embrace rather than fear. "I'm incredibly grateful to be here at 75," she told NewBeauty. "I think it's health, happiness, feeling comfortable in my skin and feeling like I'm really part of today's world."
The actress, who played Solitaire opposite Roger Moore in 1973's Live and Let Die, added: "I think that aging is actually a privilege."
Jane has also spoken candidly about cosmetic procedures. Earlier this year she said she has chosen to age naturally without relying on lasers or fillers, explaining that retaining movement in her face is particularly important to her work as an actress.
It is a philosophy she has held for years. "I've chosen to let my wrinkles express their feelings," she previously joked when discussing her decision not to chase a completely line-free complexion.
Jane Seymour's diet secrets at 75
Rather than restrictive eating plans, Jane credits a Mediterranean-style diet with helping her maintain her energy. "I have always eaten a Mediterranean diet," she revealed this summer, adding that she particularly loves nutrient-rich foods including berries, kale and spinach.
She has previously said that she prefers moderation to dieting and grows organic produce, telling ABC News: "I eat everything in moderation and I grow organic food and I tend to eat from the garden."
Her approach hasn't changed dramatically over the years. Jane previously revealed that she loves fresh fruit and vegetables, eggs and homemade salsa, but won't deny herself treats either. "If I choose French fries or ice cream, I don't get mad at myself," she told the Los Angeles Times, adding that dark chocolate is one of her favorite indulgences.
How Jane Seymour stays fit
Jane's exercise routine is similarly balanced, although her background as a ballet dancer has undoubtedly helped her remain active.
"Fitness, I try to do a combination of light weights, some walking, fast walking if I can, or up and down a hill," she recently explained. She also incorporates Pilates, Gyrotonics and ballet exercises into her routine.
She doesn't believe in pushing her body beyond its limits, however, and instead adapts her workouts according to how she feels. At 75, Jane says she still has enough stamina to surprise her younger colleagues. "I'm told on film sets that I outrun and outpace all the young ones," she revealed, attributing much of her energy to loving her work and looking after herself.
Perhaps her biggest youthful secret, however, has little to do with food, fitness or skincare. "Within, I feel very young, but I feel much wiser and much more comfortable about everything in life," she recently told Harper's Bazaar. "Now this is my time."nne
