Hailey Bieber shared a rare glimpse of her son Jack Blues to celebrate his second birthday, and the toddler appears to be following in his famous dad Justin Bieber's footsteps.
The Rhode founder marked her only child's milestone with a series of intimate family photographs documenting life with the adorable two-year-old, whom she welcomed with Justin in August 2024.
"Our sweet boy is 2," Hailey captioned the Instagram carousel, adding: "Happy birthday Jack Blues."
While the couple have made a conscious decision not to show Jack's face publicly, the new photographs reveal just how much he has grown, with his light brown hair and petite frame bearing a sweet resemblance to Justin as a child.
One particularly adorable shot showed Jack dressed in miniature hockey pads as he played with a stick and bright green ball, suggesting he may already have inherited his Canadian father's love of the sport.
Jack Blues celebrates his second birthday
Another photograph captured a tender father-son moment between Justin, 32, and Jack as they walked hand-in-hand through the countryside.
Dressed casually in an oversized white T-shirt, denim shorts, black boots and a beanie, Justin towered over his son, who looked adorable in a bright pink ensemble.
Hailey, 29, also included several candid mother-son photographs, including one of her crouching down in a field to kiss Jack as he wrapped his arms around her neck.
In another, the family of three could be seen relaxing together on a vintage floral sofa, with Jack standing between his parents wearing only a diaper.
The photographs appear to offer an unusually intimate look inside the Biebers' family life, which Hailey and Justin have largely kept private since becoming parents.
Hailey also shared a glimpse of Jack's birthday celebrations on Instagram Stories, showing a plate of pancakes covered in whipped cream and topped with birthday candles. She accompanied the image with Justin's song "Everything Hallelujah", which includes a sweet reference to both Hailey and "Baby Jack".
Hailey Bieber on motherhood
Hailey has become increasingly candid about how profoundly motherhood has changed her. Speaking to Vogue last year, the model described Jack as her "priority" and "the most important thing to me", while revealing that becoming a mother had given her a newfound sense of confidence.
"It's been my biggest teacher so far," she said of motherhood, adding that parenthood had also transformed the way she viewed her relationship with Justin. She described her husband as an "amazing dad" and a natural with their son.
Hailey later admitted there was no way to truly prepare for having a baby. "I don't think there's anything someone can tell you about it that will ever, ever, ever prepare you until you do it yourself," she told GQ.
Jack's arrival has also made the model considerably more of a homebody. "I just love to spend time with my son," she explained. "He's growing so fast, and it's gone by so fast, and it starts to become more and more real how much you want to soak up that time."
Justin Bieber's life as a dad
Fatherhood was something Justin had long hoped for. The Grammy-winning musician told Vogue that having a family with Hailey was what he had "always dreamed of", and he has since offered occasional glimpses of his close relationship with his son.
Recent photographs shared by the singer have shown Jack cuddling up to his dad, while the toddler has also spent time with Justin in the recording studio.
Hailey has similarly spoken about the importance of the pair sharing parenting responsibilities as they juggle their demanding careers.
"Having a great partner is really important," she said during Vogue's Forces of Fashion event in Australia earlier this year. "And sharing responsibilities."
Referring to Justin taking care of Jack while she was working overseas, she added: "I'm here working and my son is at home with his dad living his best life."
Jack is developing his own personality
Although his parents continue to protect his face from public view, Hailey has begun sharing a few details about Jack's developing personality.
Earlier this year, she revealed that her then 16-month-old had started talking and had become particularly fascinated with basketball.
"So he talks a lot about basketball," she said during an appearance on Jake Shane's Therapuss podcast. "He says basketball all the time."
She also revealed that Jack had started saying "please", having previously learned how to communicate the word using sign language.
And while hockey and basketball already appear to be interests, it remains to be seen whether Jack will eventually inherit his dad's musical talents too.
Will Hailey and Justin Bieber have another baby?
Jack may not remain an only child forever, with Hailey openly admitting that she would like to expand their family.
"I love being a mom," she said last year, revealing that having children was something she had envisioned since childhood. More recently, she revealed that the experience of raising Jack had made the prospect of having another child feel less daunting. "I feel much more prepared to do it again, as opposed to how not prepared I felt doing it for the first time," she told GQ.
Hailey has even joked that the eventual size of the Bieber family depends on the day. "I definitely want more than one, but I'm taking it one at a time," she told Interview. "Some days I want two. Some days I want five."
